Enterprise Architect

Key Role:

Act as an expert in IT systems and enterprise architecture and undertake complex projects requiring additional specialized technical knowledge. Provide well–thought–out decisions on complex or ambiguous IT architecture issues. Coordinate with users to determine requirements. Ensure system improvements are successfully implemented and monitored to increase efficiency. Establish and communicate common goals and direction for team and act as a resource for direction, training, and guidance for junior staff. Monitor project schedules and costs. Evaluate new technologies for the application of Model–Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) to improve design and use of architecture products.

Basic Qualifications:

-6+ years of experience with enterprise architecture modeling tools and techniques, including IBM and Unicom System Architect and the Enhanced Information Support Plan (EISP) tool
-Experience with Communications Equipment Population Summary (CEPS) assessments for Naval programs required

-Experience with Naval ship programs, including Littoral Combat Ship (LCS), DDG 1000, or Navy or Marine Corps C5ISR systems

-Knowledge of modeling languages and frameworks, including DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF), The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF), and SysML

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree or 6+ years of experience with enterprise architecture modeling tools and techniques

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Enterprise Architecture Certification
