Enterprise Architect

Key Role:

Support the OCIO organization in designing and implementing an organization's IT framework. Support and collaborate with organizational stakeholders and team members to determine organization goals for developing EA artifacts. Develop and detail the integration touch points between Enterprise Architecture and Strategic Planning and Analysis. Update Department of Justice (DOJ) Enterprise Roadmap, Architecture Product Guide, and EA Framework and Methodology documents. Update existing DOJ segment architectures, including any accompanying meeting support, data gathering, and coordination with DOJ components. Identify methodologies for integrating EA with Performance, Capital Planning and Investment Control (CPIC), and portfolio management. Develop and maintain DOJ EA with functional views, including strategy, business, data, applications, infrastructure, and security. Upgrade, administer, and maintain Enterprise Architecture Repository and documentation and interact with senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between DOJ components.

Basic Qualification:

-5+ years of experience with enterprise or solution architecture

-5+ years of experience with EA Framework, including DoDAF, TOGAF, or FEA

-3+ years of experience with EA modeling and visualization tools for creating EA artifacts, including capability, operational, system, data, and services views

-2+ years of experience with developing and maintaining EA documentation

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with creating DB schema, data dictionary, and database design documentation a plus

-Knowledge of the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process

-Knowledge of federated identity management and security aspects

-Knowledge of Microsoft Access and SQL Server a plus

-Ability to assist with the procurement of EA tools

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Active Secret or Top Secret clearance a plus
