Enterprise Data Management Architect

Key Role:

Serve as an architect of Enterprise Data Management (EDM) solutions, including information asset glossary, authoritative data store directory, and MetaData repository. Apply technology and innovation to client mission areas with a specific focus on data platforms, strategies, and architectures. Leverage expertise in architecting, designing, and building EDM solutions for large enterprise with a focus on enterprise information model, also called corporate information model, business glossary, or MetaData repository. Provide thought leadership around the technologies and approaches to EDM, including master data management, data governance, data strategy, innovation, and information sharing. Identify and document roles, responsibilities, and governance required for successful implementation of EDM solutions. Lead Air Force organizations in generating test data for EDM solutions. Develop and document methodologies for AF organizations to employ to populate EDM tools.

Basic Qualifications:

-7+ years of experience with DoD data architecture, data modeling, and database design and administration

-Experience with EDM tools

-Experience with developing taxonomy

-Ability to present solutions precisely to various levels of management, work across different groups, and perform limited project management to implement the proposed solutions

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Air Force installation organizations, personnel, or CDO

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent time and task management skills
