Enterprise Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Manager

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for the systems development and operations of the firm’s enterprise data warehouse and business intelligence (BI) operations with oversight of a large team of 30 or more employees or contractors. Develop and implement a roadmap based on the strategic vision for enterprise analytics and business intelligence that drives the continual maturation of firm’s BI program, including on-premise and Cloud technologies, actively drive the creation and adoption of a self-service strategy to promote business delivered content and enablement of business-driven analytics. Create an inspiring team environment with culture of open communication, engaging staff with ongoing conversations and feedback, including helping in developing expertise, and vision for a rewarding career, reinforcing our ethics, purpose and values. Implement policies and procedures for ensuring the security, quality, integrity, and availability of enterprise data warehouse to support overall data and analytics strategy and ensure best practices are established and maintained for all key BI and data management procedures, architecture, and standards. Accountable for planning, scheduling and controlling daily operations within a Sarbanes-Oxley compliant environment. Build and maintain solutions that support firmwide planning and forecasting capabilities. Build collaborative relationships with key stakeholders to identify, refine, and organize needs and priorities and manage vendor relationships and assist with vendor selection for future data warehouse and business intelligence solutions.


Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in data and analytics strategy, managing large BI teams of more than 20 members, and complex BI platforms, including exhibiting excellent professional and managerial capabilities

-Experience with successful implementations that deliver value to the business, resulting in measurable business outcomes, including exhibiting exceptional business acumen

-Experience with business financial management, compliance and regulatory requirements, program management, and change management and risk management

-Ability to communicate effectively with business leaders across the enterprise in a consultative and collaborative fashion yielding effective compromise

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualification:

-Experience with managing large groups of employees, including 45+

-Experience in diplomacy, strategic thinking, and thought leadership

-Ability to react to change productively and positively in a fast-paced environment

-Ability to exhibit expertise in view of how finance functions work together and how data flows between them

-Ability to prioritize and execute multiple deadlines in a high-pressure environment

-Ability to develop and execute solutions to complex issues

-Possession of excellent consultative and partnering skills
