Enterprise Field Operations Engineer

Key Role:
Serve as a regional or roving enterprise field operations engineer providing onsite support to the Charleston, SC office cluster, as needed. Serve as a technical liaison and interface on behalf of information services teams across the organization, including supporting the office cluster’s IT infrastructure and special projects, as determined by the business. Provide Tier I-III support for staff in the office cluster on corporate assets, including technical support to corporate staff for corporate-issued Wintel and Macintosh computers and mobile devices in a Microsoft Active Directory environment, Windows or Mac OS X Corporate Gold-load, and enterprise software or application support, such as Microsoft Office or Outlook, iOS or Android and enterprise mobile software or application and device management (MDM) support, and Wintel and Macintosh hardware or break-fix support, as needed. This position requires travel to provide technical support at least 25% of the time.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with information systems
-3+ years of experience with supporting Macintosh and Intel computers, including MacOS and Microsoft Windows, in an Active Directory environment
-Knowledge of basic networking technologies, including LAN/WAN, wireless, Microsoft Active Directory, TCP/IP, DNS, Windows, such as NetBIOS and WINS and 802.11 wireless or 802.1x certificate authentication
-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with security and anti-virus products for MacOS and Microsoft Windows
-Experience with supporting Microsoft Office on MacOS and Microsoft Windows
-Knowledge of MacOS and Microsoft Windows desktops, notebooks, tablets, peripherals, networking infrastructure, and operations
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in CS or Information Systems
-CompTIA A+ IT Technician Certification 

-Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP) or Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) Certification
-Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP) Certification
