Enterprise Information Model Data Engineer

Key Role:

Perform data discovery and data engineering activities, including data acquisition, data profiling, schema analysis, and metadata collection. Engage with data owners and subject matter experts to perform data adjudication activities and negotiate the requirements, frequency, and methodology for data extraction and delivery. Identify opportunities for the AF client to leverage AF organizational constructs to institutionalize an AF data strategy. Build coalitions across MAJCOMS, Air Staff, PEOs, and other communities to plan, design, and implement enterprise data management (EDM) practices, procedures, and tools. Analyze data and translate it into recommendations when working with various teams across the organization. Work with data engineers to help define data sharing framework architecture.

Basic Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with performing data analysis, including gathering, interpreting, concluding, and presenting findings
-Experience with performing data quality and accuracy assessments
-Experience with data management, data architecture, data governance, or enterprise architecture
-Ability to communicate with relevant data stakeholders to research and help resolve data lineage, data anomalies, or data quality issues
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BS degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, CS, Engineering, or Business

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with data governance
-Possession of excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills, including expertise in data and information
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
