Enterprise Risk Management, Senior

Key Role:
Manage and execute the risk management process for major US Air Force (USAF) client organizations. Identify, track, and maintain current risk assessments supporting the operations, development, and sustainment of Air Force systems. Perform technical analysis to identify risks against meeting performance, cost, and schedule goals at the subsystem, system, and enterprise levels of USAF customer organizations. Analyze and document risk management processes, procedures, and plans as the programs evolve, train contract and government personnel on the risk management program, and identify and report priority risk events to senior contract and government management. Work with junior government and contractor organizations by analyzing the development of robust and effective risk, identification, and handling processes. Evaluate risk management plans for conformance in accordance with USAF and DoD prescribed risk standards. Maintain responsibility for scheduling and facilitating risk assessments on program elements and technical projects with teams, entering data into a risk management database, maintaining the currency of the data, coordinating approval of risks with government personnel, and facilitating risk management working groups and boards. This position is located in El Segundo, CA.

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with executing USAF or DoD risk analysis, tracking, and handling policies, processes, and documentation
-Experience with identifying and analyzing risks and analyzing the development of follow-on handling strategies and plans
-Experience with systems engineering pertaining to development, operations, and acquisition programs, including requirements development, design reviews, test and evaluation, operational acceptance, training, modeling and simulation, and scheduling
-Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Project
-Experience with working in and for collaborative teams supporting a technically complex task
-Ability to facilitate meetings and conduct briefings proficiently
-Secret clearance
-BS degree in Engineering and 8+ years of experience with engineering and risk management

Additional Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience with program management
-Experience with USAF processes and procedures regarding acquisition, development, operations, maintenance, and sustainment
-Experience with VBA programming
-Possession of excellent organizational skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including technical writing
-MA or MS degree in Management or Engineering
