Environmental Engineer, Junior

Key Role:

Collaborate with a team of technical experts to evaluate and improve water quality programs. Perform audits, evaluate drinking water infrastructure and water quality management programs, and assist with compliance-based deliverables and reports. Support in development of 75% technical plans and compliance reports, and spend 25% of the time in the field conducting water infrastructure and program assessments.  

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with environmental auditing, including reporting development, and aspects of water quality, such as sampling procedures, water treatment, and water quality regulations

-Ability to interpret and apply codes, rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

-Ability to plan, schedule, prioritize, and coordinate work within assigned work area 

-BS degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with theory and operation of water supply and distribution systems

-Knowledge of principles, practices and methods used in water quality control 

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication

-Engineer In Training (EIT) Certification
