Environmental Scientist

Key Role:

Provide broad-based technical expertise in environmental remediation activities in support of DoD and other federal clients. Leverage expertise in reviewing, analyzing, and preparing documentation for the full range of NEPA resources areas, as needed, and apply experience with environmental restoration, including RCRA and CERCLA. Support acquisition package documents for A&E contracts, project execution, data management tools, and strategic initiatives. Prepare and review environmental restoration technical documents. Support environmental restoration program managers. Support records management, project tracking, SharePoint, and database maintenance in accordance with DoD schedule and requirements. Provide support and facilitate conferences and meetings. This position is located in San Antonio, TX.


Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience with environmental work

-Experience with NEPA

-Experience with environmental remediation

-Experience with RCRA and CERCLA

-Experience with federal, state, and local regulations and statutes and Air Force and DoD regulations

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with preparing an Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) and Environmental Assessment (EA) acquisition packages

-Experience with program management reviews

-Experience with records management, project tracking, SharePoint, and database maintenance

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree
