Environmental Specialist, Mid

Key Role:
Provide a broad spectrum of support for environmental compliance programs. Perform Phase I real property assessments and support NEPA projects, including regulated waste management, wastewater, stormwater, and water quality compliance. Perform as a researcher capable of interpreting federal, state, and local environmental regulations, including pertinent agency guidance documents and orders. Handle environmental, regulatory, and legal documentation in capacities that include analysis, data entry, document compilation, and performance of quality assurance or quality control measures. Communicate using a variety of presentation methods, including written reports and written correspondence, oral, visual, or graphical presentation, client interaction, and file management using database management expertise and experience with multiple data gathering analysis techniques and methods and creation of data reports. Show initiative in problem solving and work independently as well as in a team environment while managing multiple projects with quick turnaround times and conduct research, analyze, develop, and organize information, develop client deliverables, and attend or participate in client meetings. 

Basic Qualifications:
-1+ years of experience with supporting environmental activities in a professional work environment
-Experience with supporting multiple environmental compliance program areas
-Experience with developing written reports, presentations, and equivalent documents
-Knowledge of CERCLA or Superfund, RCRA, CWA, CAA, TSCA, and NEPA
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
-Ability to conduct research and analyses independently and develop written deliverables
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree required 

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with supporting federal clients
-Experience with data management, SharePoint, and Tableau
-Ability to work on multiple projects, multi-task, manage time effectively, and demonstrate flexibility in responding to conflicting deadlines or priorities
-Possession of excellent data gathering, analytical, and problem-solving skills
-Possession of excellent client-facing and consulting skills
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including discussing data and analysis
