Environmental Specialist/Noise Analyst

Key Role:

Work as an occupational safety professional to provide full time support to a noise complaint initiative program for a federal client. Support federal clients with responses to aircraft-related noise complaints and inquiries submitted from local communities via an online, Web-based tracking system. Perform logging, entering, tracking, and drafting of responses to noise complaints and inquiries, monitoring the status of responses and compiling statistics on the numbers and types of complaints and inquiries, contacting the public for additional information, collaborating with federal staff to draft responses, resolving issues associated with delayed or unresolved noise complaints and inquiries, and responding to information requests.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with aviation environmental, NEPA, or noise-related work

-Experience with Microsoft Office software, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Knowledge of air traffic control, including departures and arrivals, flight plans, altitudes, and PDARS

-Ability to pay strict attention to detail

-BS degree

-Possession of excellent analytical and decision-making skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
