ERP Configuration Manager

Key Role:

Maintain responsibility for the management and versioning of software code, documents, design models, and directory structures. Perform configuration identification, configuration control, configuration status accounting, configuration auditing, build management, process management, system environment management, and process improvement facilitation. Define the configuration management framework and provide guidance for a large Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation project using Deltek Costpoint for financials and Ivalua for supply chain. Provide the guidance and tools, including Standard Operating Procedures and Release Management Process to reduce the risk of having changes made to the ERP implementation project compromising system performance and data confidentiality, integrity, security, and availability. Develop standard naming conventions and directory structures, including Source Code and documentation and define and develop processes consistent with recognized industry standards to achieve mature repeatable processes. Establish configuration control at the appropriate level to manage the system, ensure control across multiple baseline development, system integration testing, user acceptance testing, and pre-production and production environments, manage the promotion source code across multiple environments, and facilitate collaboration and communication among key stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

-2 years serving in a configuration management role as a configuration manager or configuration analyst

-Experience with defining, implementing, and executing a software configuration management program

-Knowledge of software configuration management tools, including Rational Clear Case, SubVersion, or Jenkins

-Knowledge of the software development life cycle and software development methodologies, including Waterfall and Agile

-Ability to be a self-starter and demonstrate expertise in learning new technologies

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Knowledge of package software, including Deltek Costpoint or Ivalua

-Possession of excellent written communication skills for producing strategy and procedure documents

-Possession of excellent oral communication for giving presentations to business and technical leaders

-BA or BS degree
