Exercise Project Manager

Key Role:

Track requested support requirements with all command, control, communications, computers, and information elements in the theater Army Area of Operations (AO), including any assigned corps or divisions, the US Army Network Enterprise Technology Command (NETCOM) and the support GCC's J-6. Process requests for new services and information systems requirements that support theater Army forces. Track prioritization of theater Army communications and information systems support in the MCP and the theater Army's major lower level commands. Collate information systems requirements in support of theater Army and joint exercises. Analyze theater Army and joint exercise information systems requirements and recommend available assets. Participate in MCP orders process by providing C4 planning support and assessing theater Army, higher, lower, supported, and supporting Operational Orders (OPORD) and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGO) for C4I impacts. Assist with the development of the signal annex of theater Army Operational Plans (OPLAN) and Contingency Plans (CONPLAN).

Basic Qualifications:

-8 years of experience with planning and engineering diverse voice and data communication systems into interoperable tactical or strategic networks supporting international exercises, contingencies, and operational plans within the past 11 years with at least 2 of these years as a senior exercise lead

-Experience with providing C4 planning support and assessing theater Army, higher, lower, supported, and supporting OPORDs and FRAGOs for C4I impacts

-Experience with developing, publishing, and distributing the signal annex of theater Army OPLANs and CONPLANs

-Active Secret clearance

-BA degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with using Microsoft Office suite

-Ability to prepare and present oral and written recommendations and materials

-Ability to travel domestically and internationally
