Experimentation Analyst

Key Role:

Help experimentation planning teams to design, execute, and analyze fleet experiments exploring innovative naval concepts and technologies. Develop required data collection and analysis plans and analytical tools and identify requirements for technical measurements. Coordinate, facilitate, and oversee all aspects of the data collection effort during experiment execution. Analyze the data and results to draw conclusions regarding the significance of event outcomes within the experimentation context following experiment execution. Assist with the preparation of post-experiment reports and presentations that summarize experiment results, findings, and insights.


Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with both qualitative and quantitative analysis

-Experience with Microsoft Office applications with an emphasis on the statistical analysis capabilities of Excel

-Ability to travel up to 25% of the time and embark Navy ships, submarines, and aircraft

-Ability to be detail-oriented

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree in Decision Analytics, Data Analytics, Applied Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or Systems Analysis


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with military or government civil service

-Experience in working with numbered Fleet headquarters, Maritime Operations Center, carrier or expeditionary strike group staff, Navy tactical training group, or the Warfighting Development Center

-Experience with DoD military experimentation, wargaming, modeling and simulation, or test and evaluation

-Experience with electromagnetic maneuver warfare, electronic warfare, cryptology, information warfare, maritime domain awareness, maritime dynamic targeting, maritime C4I architectures, and intelligence processes
-Possession of excellent oral and written communications skills

-TS/SCI clearance

-MA or MS degree
