F-35 Block 4 Systems Engineer

Key Role:

Provide technical support to the Block 4 lead engineer and the Continuous Capability Development and Delivery (C2D2) strategic planning program manager. Coordinate technical efforts among the F-35 Joint Program Office Integrated Product Teams. Provide oversight of the prime contractor in tracking Service and Joint specific capabilities and requirements for the three F-35 variants, including advanced mission systems, technology assessment, and 5th generation platform integration. 

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience in a systems or avionics engineering role

-6 years of experience with aviation systems engineering and acquisition program support

-5 years of experience in support of DoD classified programs

-Experience with requirements management and tracking

-Knowledge of DoD acquisition processes, requirements development, and technology transition or insertion planning

-Ability to think, plan, and work on both aircraft or weapons systems and subsystem or software requirements levels

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MS degree in Systems Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or Electronic Systems Engineering preferred
