F-35 Logistics Engineer, Senior

Key Role:

Serve as the technical advisor for F-35 Logistics Products (L&P) Directorate with oversight across the overall life cycle and breadth of products delivered by its five delivery streams, including Depot Planning, Supply Chain Planning, Maintenance Planning, Modifications, Logistics Technical Data and Reliability, and Maintainability. Advise on the overarching technical requirements and architectures, coordinate capabilities that will be delivered in future program blocks, implement the technical baseline, plan delivery and configuration management of L&P products, and oversee the design, development, and implementation of all L&P products and deliverables. Leverage technical expertise and coordinate horizontally and vertically across other IPTs whose products integrate or interface with L&P.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in an engineering or logistics role directly related to DoD aviation weapons systems

-Experience in operational with Major Command/Staff or program office ACAT 1D aviation logistics

-Experience in working with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

-Knowledge of legacy platforms, including land- or ship-based, life cycle fleet support, and multi-service logistics and sustainment processes, practices, and policies to support fighter aircraft on a global scale

-Knowledge of the systems engineering applications of requirements derivation and balancing and system test and evaluation as applied to a current Tactical Aviation weapon system platform

-Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-MS degree in Engineering, Business, Management, Systems Engineering, or a related technical field
