F-35 Test Project Support Engineer

Key Role:
Provide analytical, technical, and administrative services to support a Navy client in developmental and operational test and evaluation. Support program-specific strategy development, analysis, and planning for all phases of a program’s life cycle, including phase transitions from technology development through system development, production, fielding, modification, and sustainment. Support test activities, including planning, verifying requirements and crosswalks, analyzing plans, supporting readiness reviews, analyzing the development of metrics and test parameters, validating results, and publishing reports. Analyze the engineering and technical contents of integrated master schedule (IMS) and earned value management (EVM) submittal and analyze schedules and perform risk analysis. Provide recommendations for input to the estimate at completion (EAC) process, assist with maintaining various databases, including the verification test and evaluation database, the low rate initial production (LRIP) capability cross reference matrix, and the integrated test and evaluation schedule tool (iTEST), perform research, compile and analyze data, make recommendations, and author reports covering the entire spectrum of acquisition and sustainment areas, including air vehicle and systems, logistics and sustainment, development and operational test and evaluation, international partners, and foreign military sales (FMS). Provide executive-level onsite support by analyzing the development of strategies, policies, emerging issues, and plans.

Basic Qualifications:
-10 years of experience in an engineering role
-3 years of experience with flight test program at the developmental or operational level
-Experience with technical project management
-Experience with Microsoft Office products
-Knowledge of spreadsheet programs and relational databases, including Microsoft Excel and Access
-Secret clearance
-BA or BS degree in Engineering or Science
