Facilities Project Manager

Key Role:
Perform complex facility planning and scheduling tasks, as guided by basic plan, schedule, and budget determinations. Assist with the definition of requirements and selection of approaches to the solution. Estimate, plan, schedule, and prepare layouts, coordinate and provide follow up, and compile and present reports regarding schedule progress, cost analysis, and forecast on major facility and maintenance projects, new construction, and modifications. Prepare facilities estimates and site proposals for management review as to cost and feasibility. Plan and schedule approved projects for completion by in house personnel and outside contractors. Coordinate all phases between user, plant resources, outside vendors, and contractors to accomplish preferred results in an economic and timely manner. Conduct follow–up on cost, budgets, job control, material, tools, and related items that pertains to projects.  

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with healthcare facilities, research facilities, and other highly complex facility types
-Experience with developing facility project cost estimates using RS MEANS data and tools
-Knowledge of building construction, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and equivalent trades
-Ability to work collaboratively with a myriad of stakeholders while driving consensus on facility projects in various stages of maturity, including planning, design, construction, operations, and divesture

-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with using computer–aided facility management tools, including MAXIMO for the management of facilities work
-Knowledge of Joint Commission Hospital Accreditation (JACHO) requirements

-BA or BS degree Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Interior Design, or a related field
