Field Service Engineer

Key Role:

Support the modernization and integration of Distributed Common Ground System - Army (DCGS-A) mission applications and infrastructure components. Maintain responsibility for the configuration and initial setup of a national agency’s enterprise applications on DCGS-A hardware in support of fielded systems. Analyze and comprehend current system functional and security requirements to identify process and tool integration needs, system dependencies, integration points, system interfaces, and data flows. Integrate COTS and GOTS applications and configure network and component configurations in support of software delivery to tactical units. Support the lead integrator and SIGINT team lead with their requirements and perform CM and formal testing functions, as required. 


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with large system-of-system (SoS) integration

-5+ years of experience with Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and 2012, Red Hat Linux, PUPPET, VMware, VCenter, and ESXi

-Experience with scripting languages, including Bash, Python, Ruby, or PHP

-Ability to think critically and analytically in an enterprise and system-of-systems environment

-TS/SCI clearance required

-BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering


Additional Qualifications:

-3 years of experience with fielding of DCGS-A INC1 software to Army units

-Experience as an Army system maintainer

-Experience with intelligence community applications

-Ability to work in a highly collaborative environment with peers and senior government officials

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent analytical and time management skills

-Cisco Certified Network Associate

-CISSP, CEH, or Java Certification
