Field Support Engineer

Key Role:
Specialize in pre- and post-technology deployment logistics planning and maintain responsibility for the receipt and inspection of all Deployed IT hardware, documentation, and materials and stages, tests, and upgrades to all hardware and network capabilities in the field. Provide O&M support to technology deployed in the field. Assess architectural design when deployed. Provide onsite operational training support for train the local trainer. Maintain responsibility for performing site surveys, deploying site-specific solutions to global locations, and managing site projects, as directed. Analyze site communications requirements and recommend the necessary complements of equipment to satisfy specific communications and intelligence requirements provided by the government. Maintain communications equipment accessibility and an acceptable environment and confirm that equipment that will be installed does not interfere with local facilities.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience as a field support engineer

-Experience with providing analysis related to the design, development, and implementation of hardware for products

-Experience with developing test strategies, devices, and systems

-Experience with performing stress and performance tests on a variety of computer hardware, including circuit boards, processors, and wiring

-Experience with systems implementations on multi-site projects involving enterprise-level application systems

-Experience with technology deployments in a customer facing environment

-Knowledge of enterprise networking topics

-Knowledge of technical, computer, and server analysis and troubleshooting

-TS/SCI clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Possession of excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills
