Fielding and Sustainment Administrator, Senior

Key Roles:

Provide support to a US Air Force Major Command (MAJCOM) logistics plans division in planning, managing and executing the fielding and sustainment of the Deployable Air Base System (DABS) kits. Maintain responsibility for planning, coordination, fielding and storage of DABS kits, including ensuring efforts are fully integrated into, and supported by, the appropriate Headquarters USAF(HAF) or Secretary of the Air Force (SAF), Pacific Air Forces (PACAF), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), and Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) offices, and associated Numbered Air Forces (NAFs), agencies, centers, wings, groups, and squadrons, ally and partner nations and Air Forces, as appropriate. Conduct a comprehensive analysis of DABS fielding plans to validate the existing knowledge base and documentation. Conduct a comprehensive requirements analysis of DABS storage, including warehousing and staging locations in ally or partner nations and on the U.S bases. Conduct a comprehensive analysis for transportation options for movement of DABS kits to and from storage and staging locations. Conduct a comprehensive analysis of contracting options for the sustainment and maintenance DABS equipment at storage, including staging and staging locations. Develop fielding information, including storage, warehousing, staging, transportation, including supporting the development and implementation of the DABS Implementation Plan (I-PLAN), and the DABS I-PLAN, as directed by the major command client.

Basic Qualification:

-7 years of experience in working with DoD or USAF enterprise in areas, including supply management, warehousing, transportation, equipment maintenance, contracts, pre-positioning (PREPO), War Reserve Materials (WRM), and forward operating stocks

-Experience with a USAF client

-Experience in working with requirements elicitation, determination and validation process

-Experience in working with various partner nations in supporting the forward deployment, sustainment and maintenance of USAF assets, including operational stocks, vehicles, and equipment

-Ability to travel internationally

-Secret clearance

-BA degree or 7+ years of experience with DoD Project Management

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with USAF or Secretary of the Air Force or HAF, PACAF, AFMC, AFSC, and AFLCMC

-Experience and knowledge in the fielding and sustainment of USAF assets overseas

-Knowledge of USAF logistics concepts, policies and procedures, including life cycle management, USAF equipment management, pre-positioning (PREPO) or War Reserve Materials (WRM)

-Possession of excellent teamwork skills 
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills 
-Possession of excellent collaboration skills
