Financial Analyst, Mid

Key Role:

Manage, prepare, administer, and control the program budget, including projection modeling, funding tracking, invoicing, and charge code creation, and tracking and reporting. Provide support for the development of program financial performance metrics, including headcount, LCAT slotting, briefing, revenue, cost, job profit, and P&L drivers for reporting to the leadership team. Analyze, report, and consolidate forecast data in support of internal and client reporting needs. Support the development and maintenance of financial analytics supporting the strategic direction of the program. Provide clear oral and written explanations of methodologies and financial assumptions behind all analyses and field questions from program and client leadership regarding results and findings.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with program cost control, financial management and analysis, and budget development, including financial data, analysis, and reconciliation of estimations versus actuals

-Experience with subcontractor and vendor management, including reading and interpreting SOWs, monitoring funding allocations, reviewing or approving invoices, time tracking, SCMS PRs, billing or invoicing, and sourcing

-Experience with Microsoft Excel, including macros and advanced formulas, including financial tracking, business model or scenario analyses, and reporting environment

-Experience with developing briefings in Microsoft PowerPoint to support findings and recommendations to finance leadership and prepare reports or presentations, including PMRs, SRB, and client financials

-Ability to obtain a clearance

-BS degree in Finance, Business, or Economics

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with using FT2

-Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues independently and as part of a team, set priorities that balance service and control, and manage and track multiple initiatives

-Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment, including independently manage projects and initiatives

-Public Trust clearance

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Ability to communicate complex information to an executive audience

-MBA degree

-Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Certification
