Financial Analyst

Key Role:
Perform financial analysis as part of Booz Allen's Enterprise Solutions Group (ESG) team responsible for budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and analytical project’s and reports indirectly to vice presidents and partners within ESG. Serve as an internal subject matter expert, financial analyst, and strategic business advisor to the ESG leadership in all financial matters regarding the company’s financial team activities. Conduct process improvement to enhance current reporting capabilities to meet client needs and expectations. Assist with annual planning and monthly analysis or presentation of expenses and activities, and collaborate and engage with clients on business matters proactively. Leverage prior knowledge of a government contractor and cursory comprehension of key regulations, including FAR, CAS, and DFARS. Perform detailed and complex analyses of large data sets and financial implications of project tracking, and provides analysis of expense trends, accurate forecasting, assessing company-wide financial impacts from business decisions, and delivering timely, accurate financial management reporting. Provide consulting services on complex financial and business matters that directly impact financial performance, present and support financial status to management at monthly meetings, as needed, and provide technical support for special requests, as needed. 

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of of experience with analyses and financial modeling

-Experience with reporting and presenting operations or business results to management or clients
-Experience with Excel, including the extensive use of formulas

-BA or BS degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or Economics

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with government contractors and key regulations, including FARs, CAS, and FARS
-Experience with business intelligence tools, including Hyperion

-Ability to establish credibility with home team leadership while building excellent working relationships

-Possession of excellent presentation and analytical skills

-Possession of excellent collaborative skills

-MBA or MA or MS degree in Business or Finance
