Financial Analytics and Executive Reporting Manager, Senior

Key Role:

Support or lead a variety of sub–functions in the financial analytics and executive reporting group within the Corporate FP&A function as a senior finance manager and perform as a hands–on and energetic leader that is both strategic and operational while working in a fast–paced corporate finance environment. Adapt to and lead change on a regular basis, deliver quick and accurate analysis to executives at the corporate and divisional levels, diagnose and influence the key financial drivers of the business, and gather and interpret complex financial data, including revenue, cost, job profit, and cash flow. Collaborate with key parties across the business to incorporate all relevant information into financial analytics to develop executive insights and perspectives and identify business trends, and assist with analysis for quarterly MD&A and earnings release calls. Lead bid v actual analytics efforts, develop action plans and recommendations for senior management, perform analysis of financial data related to operations, business performance, opportunities, and investments, assist with monthly Flash reporting and account reviews, manage executive reporting team, and work with a team to enhance reporting efforts from tracking and reporting to deep analytics, focusing on identifying leading indications and more forward–looking analysis. Coordinate with analytics integration for the Tableau team to deliver actionable P&L analytics to drive decision making, provide leadership and direction in the development of key finance personnel, and recruit, train, and mentor a team that continues to take on additional challenges.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in a finance function with a focus on financial analytics

-Experience in strategic and analytical expertise with a consultative approach and influencing and collaborating with senior level leaders across the business

-Experience with reporting and analyzing operations or business results for business units of $500MM+ in revenue that support government contract programs in compliance with the FAR

-Experience with using Microsoft Excel for creating detailed financial and analytical models, including 3–statement modeling, complex formulas, macros, pivots, and conditional formatting, performing scenario analysis, and teaching junior staff these concepts

-Experience with creating presentations for senior leadership that breakdown complex topics so they are succinct and easily understood and communicating financial information efficiently and effectively to senior executives

-Ability to demonstrate a record of success in building and managing high performing matrixed teams

-Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment while independently managing projects and initiatives

-BA or BS degree in Finance, Business, or Economics

Additional Experience

-Experience with using Hyperion Essbase and Oracle BI products

-Experience with corporate financial planning and analysis (FP&A) in a publicly traded company

-Experience in the government services industry

-Experience with quickly grasping data visualization tools

-Ability design for the future, while managing day–to–day financial matters, anticipate risks, and propose practical plans to mitigate them

-Ability to determine and articulate how finance can enhance the value of the overall organization.

-Ability to link business objectives to organizational initiatives, grasp business objectives and strategies quickly, and articulate how finance can support the achievement of those objectives. 

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Possession of excellent problem–solving and analytical skills
-MBA degree
