Financial Data Exploitation Analyst

Key Role:

Conduct data exploitation, analysis, and intelligence community (IC) partner outreach with a focus on threat finance. Research, evaluate, and prioritize data from multiple sources to develop a comprehension of financial networks and identify gaps and opportunities. Present findings in reports and briefings that inform policymakers and support IC operations. Develop technical and subject matter expertise to facilitate the collection and exploitation of financial intelligence data. Support outreach to communicate capabilities and train mission partners on methodologies, as needed.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience as an all–source or intelligence analyst for the US intelligence community (IC)

-Ability to network across several components and organizations to support a variety of projects

-Ability to extrapolate relevant information from unstructured data sources

-Ability to interact with various IC partners daily

-TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

-BA or BS degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or Accounting, a professional financial certification, such as Certified Anti Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS), Certified Financial Crime Specialist (CFCS), Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Certified Financial Forensics (CFF), Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), or Certified Financial Accountant (CFA), or 1+ years of experience with financial systems or data or authoring a finance–related publication


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with conducting all–source intelligence analysis, targeting, or technical collection in the IC or working in the financial industry

-Knowledge of financial data, international financial systems and institutions, or emerging financial technologies a plus

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills


Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.
