Financial Intelligence Analyst, Junior

Key Role:

Implement task-specific and technical direction in support of the evaluation and analysis of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) reporting to generate original, insightful, and accurate intelligence products on key issues, typologies, and trends in Cyber-enabled financial crime. Assist senior and mid-level government officials, including law enforcement investigators, regulators, or policy makers. Work on report topics, including Cyber-enabled crime methods and trends, such as technical methods and money laundering techniques, Cyber target development, such as identification of Cyber-enabled crime networks, actors and techniques that may represent a Cyber threat to systemically-important financial institutions and associated infrastructure, and exploitation of emerging payment technologies, such as virtual currencies for criminal use or threat actor financing.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience in a professional work environment

-Experience with virtual currency investigations or law enforcement investigations

-Experience with open source research and analysis

-Experience with collecting, analyzing, and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data from multiple sources

-Experience with Microsoft Access, Excel, and Word

-Active Top Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Ability to show proficiency in a foreign language, including Russian, Korean, Mandarin, or Arabic

-Ability to construct and apply statistical models to structured datasets

-CAMS, CFE, or CFCS Certification

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Top Secret clearance is required.
