Financial Management Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Work with a dynamic, fast-paced team of professionals providing financial management and solutions to a client team within the defense market. Focus on areas in need of financial management to help develop and implement business processes and act as the primary interface for routine and ad-hoc program financial risk management activities. Assist program and job managers with revenue forecasts, coordinate funding requirements with internal and external acquisitions personnel, and provide analysis on LOE, funding and ceiling versus expenditures and job profit, identify financial and contractual risks, and provide recommendations, as appropriate. Support contract or task order kickoff meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure the accurate set up of new tasks and provide financial oversight to subcontractors and independent consultants, including invoice and funding requirement reviews and approvals. Provide financial information and presentation materials to support internal and external PMRs and MSRs, assist with estimating and tracking financial information and managing spend plans for multiple programs, and support cost volumes for proposal activities. Communicate and interact directly with internal clients, principals, PMs, and JMs, multi-task and problem solve in a fast-paced, changing environment, and work collaboratively across internal and external teams.

Basic Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with program and project financial management, including DCAA requirements, GAAP, and public company SEC guidance

-Experience in monitoring compliance with general contract terms and conditions for government contracts

-Experience with supporting multiple clients in a fast-paced environment and setting priorities that balance service and control

-Experience with subcontractor and vendor management, including SOWs, funding allocations, and invoice review and approval

-Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and its effective use in a financial tracking, analysis, and reporting environment

-Ability to identify, research, discuss, and resolve administrative and financial issues independently and as part of a team

-Ability to manage and track multiple initiatives simultaneously

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-3+ years of experience with providing program control or financial management support in a government contracting environment

-Experience with financial modeling, including forecasting and revenue projections, proposal support, including responding to RFPs and supporting cost volume development for competitive procurements

-Experience with the Navy

-Knowledge of Cost Plus Incentive Fee contracts

-Ability to learn and teach fundamentals related to the support of program management activities

-Possession of excellent organizational skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree
