Financial Management Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Perform financial analysis for a civilian agency to complete monthly, quarterly, and yearly close and federal financial reporting tasks. Interface with the project manager and top client management. Provide work leadership for junior employees.


Basic Qualifications:

-9+ years of experience with progressively responsible assignments, preparing federal financial statements, and providing guidance and direction for tasks

-Experience with supporting business process or system improvements

-Experience in working with Microsoft Office, including Excel and Access

-Knowledge of working with US Standard General Ledger (SGL) and crosswalks and federal and budgetary accounting transactions and reporting requirements

-Ability to coordinate complex accounting or financial management tasks with other business units

-Ability to work independently to complete complex accounting or financial management tasks

-Ability to conduct research, evaluate facts, and exercise judgment

-Public Trust clearance

-BA or BS degree in Finance or Accounting


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with performing monthly and quarter-end close activities, including account reconciliations, general ledger tie-point analysis, and budgetary impact analysis

-Experience with supporting agency reporting to the Treasury

-Experience in working with Momentum

-MA or MS degree in Finance or Accounting

-Certified Public Accountant (CPA) License or Certified Government Financial Manager (CGFM) Certification
