Firmware/Software Engineer/Scientist, Lead

Key Role: 
Perform research and system analysis of firmware and host technologies for government and military programs. Perform design and prototyping based on computer and microprocessor software and firmware, memory devices, and FPGA technologies. Perform reverse engineering of computer and microprocessor software and firmware, memory devices, and FPGA technologies. Work on reverse engineering of complex systems, semiconductor devices and firmware, and developing firmware and hardware systems.

Basic Qualifications: 
-5 years of experience with software engineering and embedded software engineering
-3 years of experience with reverse engineering
-Experience with programming and scripting languages on both Windows and Linux platforms, including Python, Assembly, and C++
-Experience with analysis and development software, including MATLAB or LabVIEW
-Experience with developing software systems in proprietary languages, including Assembly, C, or C++ on UNIX, Linux, VxWorks or proprietary vendor systems
-Ability to read or write one or more Assembly languages, including X86, ARM, MIPS, or Power PC
-Secret clearance required
-MA or MS degree

Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in performing liaison services with the government client and Booz Allen, including expertise in company engineering per specific client requirements
-Experience with system design, integration, and prototyping
-Experience with hardware and firmware-based methods for performing reverse engineering
-Experience with programming, debugging, and testing in programming languages, including Python, C, C++, and Assembly
-Experience with developing firmware
-Experience with Verilog or VHDL
-MS degree in Software Engineering, EE, or CS required
