Flying Squadron Training Analyst

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for creating, updating, reviewing and maintaining documents and training records and folders to be approved by the training officer. Ensure compliance with governing instructions, policies, MAJCOM supplements, syllabus, and local guidance for client permanent, associate, and attached aircrew as well as students, where applicable. Assist with permanent party faculty upgrade, development, currency, and qualification requirements. Prepare and monitor waiver requests and local training and testing programs for aircrew. Interface with Host Aviation Resource Manager (HARM) personnel or Squadron Aviation Resource Manager (SARM) personnel to update the Aviation Resource Management System (ARMS) or equivalent systems. Coordinate with the appropriate scheduling authorities to ensure crew members are scheduled for ground or ancillary training and ensure pre-deployment training requirements are accomplished. Analyze the preparation of non-mission-ready memorandum and corrective action plans for approval by the training officer on a semi-annual basis in accordance with local procedures, as required, including ensuring students are loaded into the appropriate management system (MS), setting up student gradebooks in MS, performing regular gradebook checks, and preparing student gradebooks for closeout by the training office or designated representative in accordance with local procedures, as required.


Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with working in a DoD operational flying unit, including active duty, guard or reserve, contractor, or civilian

-2+ years of experience in working with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

-Ability to operate the following systems or programs: a computer-based training and integrated management system, including TIMS, GTIMS, PEX, or X-plan, SharePoint web sites, and communities of practice

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Microsoft Access

-AA or AS degree
