FOIA Administrator

Key Role:

Support Air Force Headquarters administration of information access programs, including Freedom of Information Act (FOIA), records management, privacy, information collections, Federal Register, Section 508, information quality, and civil liberties programs. Support the development of policy, governance, processes, and oversight of AF requirements and responsibilities. Support Air Force clients in ensuring information access in compliance with US law and Air Force policy. Provide monthly metrics for information access programs. Provide FOIA help desk support and help the Air Force rapidly respond to FOIA inquiries and maintain records, as required. Track and process audit recommendations related to Air Force FOIA and other information access programs. Maintain Air Force information access programs' websites and collaboration sites. Process Air Force privacy impact assessments, Personally Identifiable Information (PII) breach reports, Privacy Federal Information Security Modernization Act (FISMA) reports, and requests for records disposition.

Basic Qualifications:

-1+ years of experience with applying business processes

-Ability to adhere to deadlines and work in a fast-paced work environment

-Ability to write high-level documents, including policy inputs

-Ability to professionally interface with clients daily

-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with federal records management

-Experience with FOIA, FISMA reporting, and National Archive Record Agency (NARA) processes

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including reading comprehension

-BA or BS degree
