Force Development, Management, and Modernization Analyst

Key Role:
Provide force management expertise to support the TRADO CG-9. Provide technical and analytical support and documentation for the integration of the full range of force management activities from unit to Army-level for the current and future force and associated initiatives. Analyze, assess, and document DOTMLPF integration for the current and future force 5.3.1. Provide analysis, documentation, and planning support for executing and sustaining the modernization of the institutional training strategy for Army formations. Conduct and document broad analyses of Army force management-related initiatives and analyze a wide range of primary source materials to ensure that the client is accurately and objectively informed and prepared for decision-making. Create, re-write, or revise major Army and Joint plans, doctrine, and manuals in coordination with internal TRADOC and Army force modernization proponents with a specific focus on future force requirements and specific Army force management-related activities. Provide experienced, senior-level reviews, evaluation, and documentation of the full range of force management-related activities prior to review by Army leadership.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience as a Functional Area 50 force management functional analyst

-Experience as an O/I at Army Staff, Army Command, or USAFMSA

-Knowledge of elements of Army Force Management and Force Design, DoD Integrated Defense Acquisition, and Logistics Life Cycle Management System

-Knowledge of JCIDS requirements process, acquisition management process, PPBE Funding Process, the Army Requirements Oversight Council (AROC), and Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC)

-Knowledge of how to integrate the Army’s capabilities with other Services, US government agencies, and foreign government partners

-Active Secret clearance

-BS degree

-Graduate of Army Force Management School


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with resource management and program and budget analyses

-Active Top Secret clearance

-MA or MS degree

-CGSC Graduate
