Foreign Military Sales Logistics Analyst

Key Role:

Develop and implement logistics plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products to enhance product flow and assist with analyzing policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost control. Conduct distribution and network studies, monitor inventory, and analyze requirements to develop strategies to achieve preferred delivery times and order fill rates. Maintain appropriate records, prepare reports, and coordinate logistics activities with internal and external customers. Possess and apply comprehensive knowledge of a particular field of specialization for the completion of complex assignments and plan, conduct, and supervise assignments. Review progress, evaluate results, and plan and assign personnel for given projects or tasks. Assist with the review and evaluation of personnel performance, interpret and apply organization policy, and recommend changes in procedures. Operate with substantial latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions and review progress with management.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with providing logistics expertise to supporting aircraft, weapon systems, training, supportability, reliability, maintainability, and sustainability

-Experience with providing site support, including maintenance planning, phased support, manpower and personnel requirements, initial provisioning and material support, support equipment, training and training devices, technical data packaging, handling, storage and transportation, and facilities

-Experience with acquisition Level of Repair Analysis (LORA), maintenance planning, logistics support and supportability analysis, operational availability analysis, or resource requirements analysis related to in-service support of advanced DoD weapons systems

-Knowledge of Life Cycle Cost (LCC) and Total Ownership Cost (TOC) Management Plans, Maintenance Plans and Logistics Support Analysis (MP/LSA) records, maintenance tasks, and Level of Repair (LOR) analysis

-Ability to validate FMS sustainment approaches, including new concepts, such as Performance-Based Logistics (PBL), analyze trade studies for FMS customers to assist with decision making, and respond to FMS customer questions and Requests for Information (RFI)

-Active Secret clearance

-AA or AS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with life cycle costing preferred

-Experience with FMS Integration Sustainment support services in support of the LRIP effort of the F-35 aircraft

-Experience with aviation logistics support for a similar generation aircraft, including F-18
