Foreign Military Sales Requirements Technical Analyst

Key Role:

Leverage technical expertise in operational analysis and operational and air systems requirement development. Assist with the management of the Operational Requirements Document (ORD) and the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter (JSF) air system contract specification for the client program and all Configuration Description Documents (CDDs) for future capabilities. Analyze, decompose, and allocate all requirements from ORD or CDD to contractual requirements and to lower-tier requirements in an appropriate requirements management system, including Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS). Perform requirement verification and requirement change management for the F-35 program. Assist the F-35 Joint Program Office (JPO) by ensuring the documented requirements processes are followed for managing and maintaining all databases, coordinate, receive, track, store, and perform quality control for the regularly shipped snapshots of all F-35 requirements in requirements databases, and assist the F-35 JPO with managing appropriate classified computing systems to allow loading of appropriate JSF requirements’ databases to support the F-35 JPO engineers’ research. Support Low Rate Initial Productions (LRIPs) verification efforts for Capability Confirmation Audits (CCA) and Capability Declaration Letters (CDLs) and provide status of the program and applicable specification compliance in preparation for DD250. Assist with requirement verification and requirement-related activities by supporting Joint Requirements Review Team (JRRT) meetings, Air System Technical Coordination Meetings (ASTCM), partner modification requirements, Foreign Military Sales (FMS) modification requirement, Capability Confirmation Working Group (CCWG) meetings, the Contract Specification Closure Board (CSCB), and the LRIP aircraft acceptance.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience in an engineering or technical role

-3+ years of experience with DoD weapon system acquisition in requirements management

-2+ years of experience with developmental or operational verification text and evaluation working requirements on a DoD ACAT-III or larger acquisition program

-Experience with Microsoft Office products

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications

-BA or BS degree in a technical field preferred
