Full Spectrum Cyberspace Operations Planner

Key Role

Provide thoughtful leadership and technical insight to support, or when directed, lead the planning of full spectrum Cyberspace operations. Apply functional experience and knowledge in Joint and Army Cyberspace operations planning, strategy, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), and policy within the framework of Joint and Army military decision making processes, including MDMP and JPP. Develop innovative solutions for operational issues and requirements facing Joint Force Headquarters Cyber (GA), Army Cyber Command and a broad range of Joint, Army, coalition, and interagency Cyberspace operations stakeholders. Conduct basic through expert analysis and planning within Joint and Army frameworks resulting in the development of Cyberspace operations related orders, plans, concepts, briefing, mission analyses, courses of action, and other similar deliverables and lead or participate in operational related targeting processes and TTPs. Author and co-author, review, and comment on orders, operational plans, fragmentary orders, warning orders, and execution orders. Plan, participate in, or lead formal and informal meetings as a SME, including operational planning teams, Joint planning groups and other interagency working groups. Exhibit qualities of a SME and brief and advise senior military and civilian leaders, including working in a highly dynamic team-oriented environment.

Basic Qualifications:

-10 years of experience with developing a full range of planning deliverables from the Army’s Military Decision Making Process and the Joint Operational Planning Process levels

-Experience with analyzing and actively participating in full spectrum Cyberspace operations planning and execution, including Cyber targeting

-Knowledge of Cyberspace breadth of operations

-Knowledge of the Joint and Army Cyberspace operational enterprises, including ARCYBER, USCYBERCOM, Joint Staff, JFHQ-Cs, Geographic Combatant Command, and Functional Commands

-Active TS/SCI clearance required; willingness to take a polygraph

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with coordinating Cyberspace operations with other Army, DoD, and national agencies

-Knowledge of USCYBERCOM, HQDA, and Joint Staff processes and procedures

-Knowledge of Cyberspace and intelligence operations governing US Code, including Titles 6, 10, 18, 32, and 50

-Possession of excellent analytical and presentation skills

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in Information Management, Computer Systems, or Analysis

-Completion of the Basic Computer Network Operations Planners Course, the Joint Cyber Operations Planning Course, and Cyber Mission Commanders Course

-Completion of Security+, PMP, CASP, CISSP, CEH and other similar industry standard certifications
