Full Stack Developer

The Challenge:

You have strong, practical knowledge, and capability across the entire application technology stack. As a full stack developer, you will leverage the full SDLC and DevOps pipeline to drive rapid, quality delivery of functionality to the client at the speed of their mission.  Engage with multiple functional groups to comprehend client challenges, prototype new ideas and new technologies, and help to create solutions to drive the next wave of innovation. Design, implement, schedule, test, and deploy full features and components of solutions. You will build software from vision to production-ready system and ensure quality delivery of software through thorough testing and reviews.

This role is more than just writing software code. We are looking for a full-stack developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques and identify and implement system improvements. Using Java, JavaScript, CSS, REST, WebSocket, and HTML5, you will work with the development team to build applications and embedded solutions that contribute to the satisfaction of business and mission needs. You will analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you are developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. You Have:

  • 3+ years of experience with software design and development, including data structures, algorithms, and OOPs
  • Experience with full stack software development using Angular, HTML and HTML 5, CSS, JavaScript, JSON or XML, Ajax, SQL, Java, Java Beans, Hibernate, Spring, SOA or RESTful patterns
  • Experience in developing with JavaScript frameworks, including AngularJS, NodeJS, Bootstrap, jQuery, or React
  • Experience with software development management tools using the Atlassian suite, including JIRA, Confluence, Stash, or Git
  • Knowledge of Linux, including basic Linux system administration
  • Ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • BA or BS degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience with software testing and quality
  • Experience with Docker
  • Experience working with NoSQL databases, including MongoDB or OrientDB
  • Knowledge of computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures
  • Ability to show creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness
  • Ability to be comfortable communicating cross-functionally and across management levels in formal and informal settings
  • Ability to be a team player with high energy who thrives in an ambiguous environment
  • Ability to triage issues, react well to changes, work with teams, and multi-task on multiple products and projects
  • Ability to be results-oriented with a customer focus
  • Possession of excellent organizational skills, including tracking multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesizing the results
  • Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Possession of excellent leadership, analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
