Global Defense HR Lead

Key Role:
The successful candidate will serve as the primary integrator for all talent management processes and solutions across Booz Allen’s geographically dispersed Global Defense Group.


This dynamic candidate will ensure the effective and efficient delivery of people strategy and services across the Global Defense Group by:

  • Building and executing a talent strategy that supports and balances both the Group’s and Booz Allen’s business goals
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders to advise and influence senior business leaders to drive talent strategies and outcomes
  • Proactively identifying and mitigating risks, constructing and aiding in deploying quick and efficient resolutions
  • Informing approaches and programs for attracting and retaining critical talent; educating, influencing, and engaging with leaders on people programs which will impact business results
  • Translating business talent requirements and desires to Centers of Excellence (COEs) who develop corresponding programs; partnering with COEs in tracking, socializing, and managing the change of those programs on behalf of the Group
  • Serving as the change champion for people programs and proactively engaging leaders regarding Booz Allen’s people programs to bring them to life for employees
  • Maintaining a high level of insight into critical HR activities, as pertinent to clients
  • Leading a team of geographically dispersed HR professionals
     

Basic Qualifications:
-10+ years of business partner experience in HR and consulting with a Fortune 500 company

-Experience with integrating business strategy and planning activities
-Experience with identifying and collaborating with key stakeholders to achieve desired business outcomes
-Experience with defining strategic objectives and high-level requirements
-Experience with identifying market-specific insights to drive and deliver on talent management and pipeline priorities
-Experience with driving scalable programs and process improvement
-Experience with implementing and managing talent and organizational effectiveness processes, programs and systems
-Ability to act as a business advisor and consult to drive business priorities, drive and communicate critical messages to leadership

-Skilled in change management strategies and approaches

-Experience leading large, geographically dispersed teams
-BA or BS degree required
 

Additional Qualifications:
-MA or MS degree a plus
