Global Force Management and Logistics Planner

Key Role:

Monitor and advocate Pacific Air Forces (PACAF) requirements in the Global Force Management (GFM) process and play an active role in the integration of PACAF inputs for Agile Combat Support (ACS) functional areas. Manage, analyze, and provide recommendation on all Agile Combat Support (ACS) personnel and equipment requirements for future global force management (GFM) and Air Expeditionary Force (AEF) taskings for Pacific Air Forces (PACAF). Coordinate with Headquarters Air Force (HAF), Air Combat Command (ACC), and the Air Force Personnel Center (AFPC) to provide a two-year forecast of PACAF forces that are available to support other Combatant Commanders while maintaining PACAFs abilities. Coordinate and develop GFM policies. Support operational-level deliberate and adaptive planning for major US Pacific Command (USPACOM) Operations Plans (OPLANs) through the development Concept of Logistics Support (COLS), Annex D, and Logistics Supportability Analysis (LSA). Facilitate and assist with the development of the Agile Combat Employment (ACE) support Concepts of Operations (CONOP), PACAF scaled capability modules for ACS forces, and provide feasibility assessments. Conduct logistics supportability analysis, identify logistics limiting factors, and lead Operational Planning Teams (OPT) to develop solutions.

Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience in operational planning for combat support and logistics functions associated with the employment of airpower

-5+ years of experience as an Air Force logistics planner

-3+ years of experience in an Air Force Major Command or Numbered Air Force headquarters

-3+ years of experience in the Pacific Command theater of operations

-Active Secret clearance required

-BA or BS degree required

Additional Qualifications:

-TS/SCI clearance preferred
