Global Health Readiness Analyst

Key Role:

Serve as a subject matter expert on global health engagement in the DoD for Navy clients. Define and analyze current problems to develop quality client deliverables and communicate the results and takeaways to stakeholders effectively. Maintain responsibility for analyzing complex client problems to define the current state of readiness and global health engagement, barriers, impacts, recommended solutions, and preferred end states. Provide guidance on strategic planning and programming for various Navy clients.

Basic Qualifications:

-10+ years of experience with strategic and operational planning or analysis in a DoD, Navy, or other military health system

-Experience with the DoD global health engagement mission

-Experience with analyzing the development of DoD instructions, policies, and guidance regarding readiness

-Experience with developing and reviewing new and existing products or capabilities

-Knowledge of preparing project papers, senior management-level briefings or presentations, and executive correspondence

-Knowledge of Navy Medicine missions, business processes, and organizational structures

-Ability to orchestrate and administer presentations, establish and maintain positive working relationships, work closely with senior level personnel, including O-5 and O-6 level, and participate in working groups to address, facilitate, and resolve actionable issues

-Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in Navy medicine

-Experience in a Plans, Operations and Medical Intelligence (POMI) officer or senior enlisted advisor US Navy role

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-MA or MS degree in a related field, including medicine, healthcare administration, or public health
