Global Public Health Leader, Senior

Key Role:
Serve as a business development leader and public health researcher and evaluator targeting the global health market by managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously and conducting global public health research and evaluations, including study design and quantitative and qualitative analyses. Maintain responsibility for writing technical reports, proposals, and whitepapers, leading internal and external client meetings and presentations, providing oversight to junior staff, and managing projects, including financial tracking and reporting. Maintain responsibility for contributing to and leading proposals and projects relevant to public health and infectious and chronic disease.


Basic Qualifications:
-7 years of experience with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC)

-5 years of experience with project management and proposal writing
-5 years of experience with client relations

-Experience with foreign in–country conducting public health research or evaluation, including study design, data collection, analysis, and report writing
-Experience with the CDC and the Center for Global Health (CGH), including business development in the CDC
-Ability to demonstrate subject matter expertise in public health training or translation, clinical quality, chronic diseases, diabetes, opioid abuse, Ebola, and Zika viruses
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-MA or MS degree in Public Health or Epidemiology


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with CDC and CGH

-Ability to read, write, and speak a second language, including Spanish or French

-PhD degree in Public Health or Epidemiology

-Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
