Graphics Designer

Key Role:
Leverage current graphics design technology and computer software packages to produce advertisements, sales promotions, and public relations material for visual communications media. Originate design, art, and copy layouts and determine the style, size, and arrangement of type and illustrations. Provide instructions or assemble and prepare final layouts for the printer directly. Apply expertise in the particular field of specialization to the completion of significant assignments. Leverage expertise in leadership and plan and conduct assignments involving larger and more important projects or more than one project. Review progress and evaluates results, lead and direct projects, as needed, and assist with the review and evaluation of personnel performance. Liaise with other departments, divisions, and organizations, as needed, evaluate progress and results, and recommend major changes in procedures.

Basic Qualifications:
-Ability to develop various media to communicate the client’s organization-wide strategy and messaging to internal and external stakeholders
-Ability to design and develop visual communications materials for the organization's media, including marketing publications and Web sites
-Ability to design and develop information graphics using tools, including the Adobe Creative Suite and 3D modeling to communicate an organization-wide strategy
-Ability to generate briefing charts in PowerPoint and maintain the graphics presentation library, including maintaining animation, hyperlinks, and formatting in compliance with the client’s branding requirements
-Ability to print and bind documentation, including lamination of paper-based products of varying sizes, as necessary
-Ability to create and reproduce business cards, brochures, signage, flyers, name tags, and posters
-Ability to design, edit and format graphics for plastic and metal-based products of varying sizes
-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications:

-Active Secret clearance

-BA or BS degree
