Health Data Architect, Lead

Key Role:
Serve as the organization's spokesperson on advanced projects or programs, including acting as the advisor to management and the client on advanced technical research studies and applications. Comprehend data and data management from an enterprise architecture perspective. Translate business-oriented information requirements into technical data management solutions by developing and implementing enterprise data strategies for the management and sharing of data that enables effective cross-enterprise and inter-enterprise system interoperability. Ensure enterprise data assets are governed by a comprehensive data management approach, including applying advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts. Work on unusually complex technical problems and provides highly innovative and ingenious solutions. Develop advanced technological ideas and guide their development into a final product. This position is located in San Antonio, TX.


Basic Qualifications:

-5+ years of experience with system‐wide business case and ROI analysis for healthcare operations in the AFMS, MHS, or VA

-5+ years of experience with integrating performance planning goals to meet AFMS objectives

-5+ years of experience with using the MHS Medical Expense and Performance Reporting System (MEPRS), Defense Medical Human Resources System Internet (DMHRSi), Manpower, and Program Objective Memorandum (POM) processes, including finance and referral management or access to care

-5+ years of experience with using advanced Microsoft Office application techniques, including Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word to design, analyze, and develop technical reports and presentations

-5+ years of experience with communicating concepts to a lay audience effectively

-3+ years of experience with working in a leadership role for resource management or group practice management

-Experience using analytical tools, including python, SAS, SQL, or “R” to perform complex analyses and make data-driven recommendations

-Knowledge of CHCS or M2 file and table structures

-Ability to obtain a security clearance

-MA or MS degree in Public Health, Health Services Research, Epidemiology, Mathematics, Biostatistics, Statistics, Informatics, Business Administration, Economics, or Management or 15+ years of experience with healthcare work
