Health Records Fielding Team Lead

Key Role:

Act as the fielding team lead for a team supporting the Veterans Administration's Electronic Health Records Modernization (EHRM) program management office. Provide site-level support to assist with critical path success and to mitigate site-level issues. Oversee fielding team technical assessments and resulting site-level mitigation projects, ensure that the EHRM program executive office's processes and standards are applied to all assigned product and projects, and address changes to product and project scope, schedule, and methods to document and analyze proposed changes for presentation to VA leadership for decisions. Create project plans to support EHRM site level plans, integrate and coordinate that plan with other CTO project plans, identify and support risk management, including using a risk register, develop and present executive-level presentations, maintain responsibility for development of the site-level work breakdown structure (WBS), project schedule, risk management, meeting coordination and facilitation, identify schedule risks, and conduct critical path analysis. This position is located in Spokane, WA.


Basic Qualifications:
-5 years of experience with fielding large-scale systems across multiple facilities
-Experience with site-level assessments
-Experience with creating and developing site-level plans
-Experience with leading teams and customer expectations
-BA or BS degree in Healthcare, IT, CS, Engineering, or Electronics Engineering or 10 years of experience in a professional work environment in lieu of a degree


Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with Veterans Health a plus

-Experience with the management of IT development and implementation projects, including technical management preferred

-Experience with large-scale deployments

-Experience with health IT

-Experience with Microsoft Project and Office suite
