Health System Decision Support Analyst

Key Role:
Provide critical decision support for health system operations planning and transformation. Comprehend, analyze, and address clients' most pressing issues by leveraging advanced data-driven problem-solving techniques and fielding Booz Allen's innovative, industry-leading capabilities. Apply deep comprehension of the health industry to predicting and planning for impact on client engagements strategically. Adapt to comprehending each health client's unique business operations and planning needs quickly and resolving those challenges through employing market research, supply and demand analysis and projections, financial analysis and projections, and strategic planning support. Collaborate with subject matter experts to optimize business operations, including accounting for the impact on a unique healthcare setting.

Basic Qualifications:

-4+ years of experience with healthcare strategic planning, healthcare consulting, or healthcare operations management

-Experience with healthcare data analysis and health IT program performance measurement

-Knowledge of healthcare data, healthcare systems, health plans, medical groups

-Knowledge of inpatient and outpatient operational structures
-AA or AS degree and 8 years of experience in a professional work environment or BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with working in a direct client-facing consulting role, including building trust with clients and excellent working relationships with onsite staff

-Ability to be detail-oriented, flexible, proactive, and capable of multi-tasking, including adapting to changing client priorities and responding to ad-hoc requests quickly

-Ability to work independently within a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

-Ability to manage tasks independently

-Ability to deliver on work assignments effectively either independently or as part of small and large teams and serve as a team lead for the project or specific workstreams, as needed

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-BA or BS degree in Health Science or Health Systems Administration preferred
