Health Transformation Analyst, Senior

Key Role:

Support Military Health System clients to help solve their most challenging problems in managing and administering military treatment facilities across the country and around the world. Advise DoD decision makers on how best to use military health capabilities to support the objectives of the Joint Force. Devise ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of military health operations and processes.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with healthcare operations analysis, management, consulting, management consulting, change management, or providing care required

-Experience with Microsoft Office at an intermediate level

-Ability to deliver on work assignments effectively, either independently or as part of small and large teams, and serve as a team lead for the project or specific workstreams, as needed

-Ability to be detail-oriented, flexible, proactive, and capable of multi-tasking

-Ability to adapt quickly to changing client priorities and respond to ad-hoc requests

-Ability to obtain a security clearance required

-BA or BS degree

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in working with the DoD preferred

-Experience with organizational change preferred

-Experience in a healthcare environment or clinical role preferred

-Experience with healthcare improvement initiatives, including planning, implementing, and evaluating large-scale performance improvement efforts in a hospital or health system preferred

-Experience with clinical process improvement preferred

-Experience with working in a direct client-facing consulting role and building trust with clients and excellent working relationships with onsite staff 

-Experience with Microsoft Office at an advanced level preferred

-Knowledge of the Department of Veterans Affairs, the Military Health System, or commercial provider organizations, their organizing constructs, operating divisions, and cultural norms and sensitivities

-Knowledge of the principles of high reliability organizations preferred

-Active Secret or Top Secret clearance preferred

-MA or MS degree preferred

-Risk Management, Project Management, or Facilitation Certification preferred

-Certification in Healthcare Patient Safety, Quality Improvement, or Performance Improvement, including Certified Professional in Patient Safety, Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, or Lean Six Sigma (LSS) Certification preferred
