Healthcare Information Security Engineer, Lead

Key Role:

Deliver Cybersecurity, systems engineering, and program support services to a large-scale military health client. Advise on network engineering and system design to support the warfighter's medical readiness. Drive greater integration of clinical and business processes across military health. Ensure maximum availability in the Health IT, including driving performance efficiency through technically capable support teams with specialized knowledge and expertise. Support clinical applications and tool-sets used by military health providers. 

Basic Qualifications:

-18+ years of experience in IT

-4+ years of experience with planning and leading a technical, engineering team in multiple and diverse engineering disciplines

-Experience with program management and strategic planning, systems requirements, HIPAA requirements, Medical Systems, Navy Medical, operational requirements, enterprise strategic planning and operations, test and evaluation, or training

-Experience in industry and public service leadership in medical systems, FISMA, HIPAA law, advanced system architecture, hardware technologies, including digital and analog communications technologies, including applied physics, human factors engineering, computer simulation, electronic sensor technologies, and ERP

-Knowledge of IA concepts and requirements, DOD military specifications and standards, system design integration planning for multiple large-scale installations, hardware and software Evaluation, Application and System Assessment planning execution and management, System requirements planning and oversight, technical development product milestone scheduling, FISMA, HIPAA IA requirements or Information Security Management and Information Systems Audit

-Knowledge of Technical Training in Information Assurance, Information Technology, Medical Systems, Network Design, Strategic Planning, and HIPAA law

-Ability to plan and organize work and interact with technical and non-technical personnel translating user requirements into responsive applications

-Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED
