Healthcare Information Security Engineer

Key Role:
Deliver Cybersecurity, systems engineering, and program support services to a large-scale military health client. Advise on network engineering and system design to support the warfighter's medical readiness. Drive greater integration of clinical and business processes across military health. Ensure health IT performance is driven to maximum availability and efficiency through technically capable support teams with specialized expertise in supporting clinical applications and toolsets used by military health providers.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-12+ years of experience with IT work
-Experience in three of the following areas: systems requirements, project management and strategic planning, HIPAA requirements, medical systems, operational requirements, enterprise strategic planning and operations, enterprise systems incident management, test and evaluation, and training
-Experience with industry and public service leadership for one or more of the following: medical systems, advanced system architecture, information assurance, hardware technologies, digital or analog communications technologies, applied physics, human factors engineering, computer simulation, electronic sensor technologies, and ERP
-Experience in 2 or more of the following areas: planning and organizing work, interacting with technical and non-technical personnel translating user requirements into responsive applications, IA concepts and requirements, DoD military specifications and standards, system design integration planning for multiple large-scale installations, hardware and software evaluation, system test and evaluation, planning execution and management, system requirements planning and oversight, technical development product milestone scheduling, FISMA and HIPAA IA requirements, and information security management and information systems audits
-Secret clearance

-HS diploma or GED
-Completion of technical training in information assurance, information technology, medical systems, network design, strategic planning, or HIPAA law
 

Clearance:
Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; Secret clearance is required.
