Help Desk Business Analyst

Key Role:

Work with a team of database administrators, programmers, and software testers to provide end user support to a variety of Air Force IT systems. Provide end user support by troubleshooting and resolving IT system and access issues. Interface with clients in-person, over the phone, and via email. Log change requests in a clear and concise manner to inform change management activities. Develop reports and analyze feedback from users to inform continuous improvement activities. Interact with system administrators, developers, DBAs, and IA personnel on a routine basis to coordinate the resolution of change requests. Assist with scheduling or delivering end user training for new and existing users and support software testing, as required.

Basic Qualifications:

-2+ years of experience with end user support for IT or computer information systems, including content management, routine data updates, and technical issues

-Experience with providing training to end users one-on-one or in small group settings

-Experience with supporting software testing

-Ability to clearly identify and document system issues

-Ability to coordinate and collaborate with database administrators, developers, and project managers to comprehend and resolve issues

-Secret clearance required

-HS diploma or GED required

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience with DoD or Air Force IT systems, including AR, ERPIMS, and e-Plan

-Experience with user account management, system access, and related documentation

-Possession of excellent interpersonal skills to successfully interact with clients, engineers, and managers

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
