Help Desk Support Specialist

Key Role:
Maintain responsibility for providing Tier 2 help desk support for vendor payables, employee payables, labor accounting, and subcontract payables. Provide user support for the following online systems: Travel and Expense Online, Time Online, Invoice Online, and Buy Online. Provide customer support to all escalated help desk tickets from employees and vendors within the response service level agreement, update tickets with complete notes daily, and ensure tickets are resolved to customer satisfaction before closure. Maintain responsibility for educating and providing policy guidance on finance inquiries. Leverage broad exposure across the Business Services team and collaborate with different individuals and teams.
 

Basic Qualifications:
-Experience in customer service and working with different personality types
-Experience with Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
-Ability to communicate via e-mail or phone clearly, including expertise in active listening 
-Ability to exhibit a friendly, professional attitude and develop rapport with customers over the phone quickly
-AA or AS degree


Additional Qualifications:
-Experience in a help desk or call center environment
-Ability to use multiple finance applications and databases in a fast-paced environment
-Possession of excellent research and problem solving skills
-BA or BS degree
