Help Desk Technician/Analyst

Key Role:

Provide technical support for a variety of system, software, and hardware issues for customers of an RDT&E network. Serve as the first point of contact for customers seeking technical assistance over the phone, via e-mail, and the internal trouble reporting application. Add and maintain user accounts, security groups, and distribution groups in Active Directory and build and configure Windows-based workstations. Install and configure Microsoft Office software and maintain network printers, label printers, and other multi-function devices, including maintaining consumables. Perform Ethernet cabling and create and contribute to technical documents, including Standard Operating Procedures. Maintain responsibility for moving and assembling computer hardware.

Basic Qualifications:

-Experience with working in an IT environment
-Ability to work in a team environment

-Ability to lift 40 lbs.

-Active Secret clearance
-HS diploma or GED

Additional Qualifications;

-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills

-Security+ Certification

Clearance:
